Mental Health Awareness Week 'Move for your mood' lesson plan

Get your pupils moving more for mental health

We’ve developed a lesson plan to support children and young people to better protect and nurture their mental health.

The theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is ‘Movement: Moving more for our mental health.’ Being active is one of the ways we can support good physical and mental wellbeing. Our schools pack is full of discussion ideas, activities and lesson plans to get you started on your movement journey and better protect the mental health of pupils and schools staff. Combine our lesson plan with a Wear it Green Day event to bring the whole school together to focus on mental health during Mental Health Awareness Week.

Our lesson plan is proudly supported by the Harry Kane Foundation.
