Our wonderful, but tough and varied figure of 8 route through Derbyshire’s finest scenery, serves up the best of the Peak District. With the trail leading you through the Peak District National Park to our comforting Bakewell basecamp. You’ll get full support all the way, and with half, quarter and 10-mile distance options that also pass Chatsworth House – there’s a Peak District Challenge for everyone!
Why you should sign up
In addition to a Mental Health Foundation t-shirt, a fundraising pack and bespoke support from our Events Team, there are also some other great incentives to sign up for this fantastic challenge. Your entry includes a range of free food and drinks at regular rest stops, and support from medics, marshals and massage teams. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, a t-shirt, and a special medal to celebrate your achievement.
Distances, entry fees and minimum sponsorships
- Full challenge (100km) – £33.75 registration fee, £595 minimum sponsorship
- Half challenge (50km) – £22.50 registration fee, £395 minimum sponsorship
- Quarter challenge (25km) – £11.25 registration fee, £250 minimum sponsorship
Alternatively, you can opt to part or fully pay the costs of the challenge yourself, reducing the required amount you'll have to raise. Please see here for more details about the different pricing options.
