Belfast City Marathon & Team Relay 2027

Take on 26.2 miles or share the challenge with friends in the Team Relay, all while raising funds for mental health

Whether you take on the full marathon or join a Team Relay, you’ll be part of one of Northern Ireland’s biggest running events.

The Phoenix Energy Belfast City Marathon follows a 26.2-mile route from Stormont to Ormeau Park, with fantastic local support along the way.

For the Team Relay, gather friends, family or colleagues and share the route across shorter legs of approximately 4–7.5 miles.

How places are allocated

Because charity places are very limited, individuals and teams are asked to share a brief outline of their fundraising plans when enquiring. This helps us allocate places fairly and ensures everyone is well supported to reach their fundraising goals.

Charity places are only released once fundraising is clearly underway.

Fundraising pages are set up automatically once an individual or team has been provisionally allocated a charity place.

Yes! If you have your own place in the race and would like to join our team, please drop us an email to events@mentalhealth.org.uk with your Running T-Shirt size - we would love to welcome you to the team.
