This paper sets out the current situation around older people’s mental health care in England, the challenges and implications for the future posed by the increasing number of older people in England, and makes recommendations aimed at ensuring older people receive the best possible health and social care and support on a fair and equitable basis.
An evaluation of the Feeling Our Way project, to identify whether the programme led to improved outcomes in the young people’s feelings of isolation and social connection, awareness of adaptive coping strategies during the pandemic, and awareness of what mental health support is available.
