Jonny Jacobs, Trustee

Jonny is an award-winning Finance professional who believes in purpose-driven leadership and has a passion for wellbeing, ED&I and sustainability agendas in business. He joined as a Trustee of the Mental Health Foundation in 2019 and also sits on the Mental Health at Work CIC board.

Jonny has been a Finance Director at Starbucks since 2020, where his role covers the diverse markets across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. In addition to his core role, he holds the position of Sponsor of Starbucks' Wellbeing Blend Network, an employee resource group focused on wellbeing. Prior to Starbucks, Jonny was Head of Food Finance at M&S Foods, and before that he spent eight years at international snacking brand pladis with most recent roles including Strategy & Transformation Director and interim CFO for North America. As the Executive Board sponsor for Mental Health, he led the Employee Mental Health & Wellbeing initiative, which led to the national "Let's Talk" partnership between McVitie's and a national mental health charity. He has a wealth of experience across commercial, operational and group roles. He trained with KPMG and qualified as a Charted Accountant in 2006.

Jonny is an advocate for mental wellbeing and his passion to drive change is championed through his many roles across non-exec platforms. He is also an Advisory Board member of Mad World, a leading summit for mental health in business, and a Goalkeeper for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation dedicated to accelerating progress towards the United Nations Global Goals.

Jonny's vision is to create an environment where we truly support colleagues, friends, families and stakeholders, through challenging times and also support positive mental wellbeing. Jonny supports organisations by sharing his own personal story and tools, that business can use to build their own plans.
