Why join our team?
You will be in the safe hands of the Fundraising Firewalk Association for this powerful and transformative experience that will leave a lasting impression on all who take part. They will take you through a 1 hour workshop to prepare you mentally and physically to walk barefoot over hot embers. It's an incredible way to raise funds, overcome fear and self doubt and build your confidence.
Everyone who signs up will receive a Mental Health Foundation T-shirt.
FAQs
- Should you have any disabilities of pre-existing medical conditions, which may affect your ability to complete this event, then please let us know.
- Spectators can't sit in on the workshop (this includes children), but they are very welcome to watch and cheer you on and they should arrive 15 minutes before the actual fire-walk.
- At no point will anyone be forced or coerced into walking on the embers - it is entirely voluntary.
- It is not weather dependent - if it is raining, we will go ahead - unless the rain or snow are so heavy that they would put out the fire or there are high winds.
