Planning your Tea & Talk event
Step 1: Set a time and place
Decide when and where you’ll hold your Tea & Talk. Your Tea & Talk can be held at any time of the year.
Step 2: Spread the word
Tell the world! Use email and social media to invite as many people as possible, and use our posters to spread the word in your workplace or school.
Step 3: Get baking
Use your signature bake or try one of our tasty treats. Remember shop bought cakes or a pack of biscuits are great too!
Step 4: Get talking
About anything! It doesn’t have to be about mental health. Talking about anything and building relationships is good for your mental health. Use the conversation cards in the fundraising pack to get the conversation flowing.
Step 5: Get fundraising
We’ve got loads of resources and ideas to help you fundraise. Get in touch with us at events@mentalhealth.org.uk if you'd like some help or for us to send you fundraising resources.
Step 6: Donate & Share!
The easiest way to pay in your donation is by doing so on our donation page. And we’d love to hear about your event! Share your story on social media using the #TeaAndTalk and tagging us.
