Isabella is the Head of the Mental Health Programmes in Scotland. She has a specific interest in promoting equality and human rights and challenging the inequalities experienced by those encountering mental health problems.

Lauren Chakkalackal, Research Officer
Lauren Chakkalackal, Research Officer

Lauren has extensive experience conducting research projects and evaluations across the fields of mental health and learning disabilities in both the UK and in Canada. She holds a MSc in Mental Health Studies and a BSc in Psychology.

David offers over 20 years’ experience in service user involvement and he is a member of the All Wales Mental Health Promotion Board and an advisor to WHO Europe on empowerment.

Ralph offers over 25 years’ experience in charity fundraising, having worked specifically in partnerships, events and the community. Ralph’s achievements include tripling the income received from grants in just 4 years at a national charity.

Yulia has been Research & Development Manager at the Mental Health Foundation since January 2014.

Barbara McIntosh, Head of Children and Young People's Programmes

Barbara has influenced the improvement of learning disability services across the UK and internationally. She serves on national advisory committees, founded the Learning Disability Coalition and holds a MSc in Health and Social Policy.

Kirsten Morgan, Research Assistant

Kirsten is currently studying for a BSc in International Studies and works on the Learn 2B project for the Foundation. She specialises in children and young people's mental health, the development of age appropriate services and non-medical interventions.

Chris O'Sullivan, Policy and Development Manager, Scotland

Chris leads the Policy and Development team in Scotland. He brings a decade of policy, campaigning and training experience, as well as lived experience of mental ill health.
