General election 2017: five mental health asks for the new government
On Mental Health Awareness Week and ahead of the 2017 general election, we have five asks for government to help the UK become a thriving nation. Jenny Edwards explains them:
In Mental Health Awareness Week 2017 we are exploring why too few of us are thriving. Why do only 13% of us live with high levels of good mental health? And why have 65% of us experienced a mental health problem at some point in our lives?
While there are things we can all do to improve our mental health, there are also things that the government can do to help. Here are our five asks taken from our report Surviving or Thriving: the state of the UK's mental health.
