The Dust of Everyday Life
The Dust of Everyday Life is a symposium on the arts, mental health, stigma and social justice at CCA: Centre for Contemporary Arts in Glasgow, which ran annually from 2015-2017. It expanded and reflected on the work of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival.
Speakers included musicians Stuart Murdoch and Adele Bethel, filmmakers Ruth Paxton and Emma Davie, theatre directors Cora Bissett and Sacha Kyle, playwrights Jo Clifford, Alan Bissett and Donna Franceschild, artists Angus Farquhar, poets Tawona Stihole and Harry Giles, psychiatrist Peter Byrne, and cultural critics Joyce McMillan and Hannah McGill.
