Amy is a Research Assistant, working on our partnership with Barnardo’s. This project involves the Mental Health Foundation Scotland, and the University of Strathclyde, working as research, evaluation and learning collaborators with three strategic partnerships on mental health and wellbeing in North Tyneside, Northern Ireland and Renfrewshire. These partnerships are focusing on systems change for children and young people’s mental health.
Amy has a BA (Hons) in Sociology and Social Policy and an MSc in Social Research. She is currently completing her See Me / SRN funded PhD in Social Work which focuses on young people’s understandings and experiences of mental health stigma in Scotland. Alongside PhD study, Amy has been involved in other research projects, teaching undergraduate social policy modules and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
