The Mental Health Foundation is the UK’s charity for everyone’s mental health. With prevention at the heart of what we do, we aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.
Key to all our work is a passionate commitment to service user and carer involvement. We deliver change and help empower people to make real changes in their lives.
Research and evaluation are at the heart of our activity.
We campaign to raise awareness of issues affecting the nationâs wellbeing, using our research and evidence to produce high quality information and resources.
We use the things we learn from our research and service development work to influence and improve policies and legislation.
Every year, between 11-17 May, we help to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing issues. This 2015, we focus on Mindfulness.
The next World Mental Health Day will take place on 10 October 2015 and the theme is Dignity in Mental Health.
Our consultants and trainers are experts in their fields and share a wealth of world-class knowledge.
