Dr Aisling McBride
Research Officer, Scotland
Aisling is a Research Officer for the Mental Health Foundation in Scotland and primarily researches and evaluates the impact of the See Me programme.
Aisling recently completed a PhD in healthcare with her thesis "Caring relationships during an episode of delirium on an acute older adult ward: An Appreciative Inquiry". She is also a qualified mental health nurse and has 5 years' experience within charity fundraising.
She has a keen interest in using appreciative and creative methods in research to support collaborative learning, the challenging of assumptions and opening new dialogues.
Aisling is passionate about promoting positive mental health throughout her working and academic life and she is delighted for the opportunity to continue her research at the Mental Health Foundation.
