Equality and Development Coordinator, VOX, Scotland
Mahmud Al-Gailani works for VOX Scotland - Scotland's national voice for those with lived experience of mental health.
Mahmud's experience ranges from financial advice, youth work, adult education, mental health support work, and community project development. He is also the Director of Moving Minds a national diversity and mental health day of events as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival.
He has degree in Community Education and has an interest in humanistic counselling. In his spare time he volunteers as chair and founding member of the Edinburgh ALMA project - an arts therapy and mental health charity.
