For parents of young people we have included some suggestions about changes that take place as they go through their teenage years and become adults.

Planning for the future also involves having difficult conversations about a time when you might no longer be there to provide support, so it’s important to talk about death and loss. In this section we talk about ways of approaching the following subjects:

  • end-of-life planning.
