Green ribbon FAQs

What does the green ribbon mean?

The green ribbon is the international symbol for mental health awareness. Did you know that the average adult will say "I'm fine" 14 times per week, yet only 19% actually mean it? At the Mental Health Foundation, we encourage people to wear the pin to create walking safe spaces for people to talk about mental health.

Where can I get a green ribbon pin?

You can order your own green ribbon badge here. All proceeds fund our life-changing work dedicated to finding and addressing the sources of mental health problems.

How can I support the green ribbon campaign?

As well as ordering your own green ribbon, you can encourage your friends and family to buy and wear one with pride.

If you are sharing via Facebook, you can add a Facebook donate button to your post, to collect extra donations for the Mental Health Foundation!:
