Hold a fundraising event!

Every year, thousands of supporters across the UK take part in Mental Health Awareness Week. This year the week will take place from 13-19 May on the theme of Body Image.

Every Mental Health Awareness Week we have thousands of our supporters get involved in raising vital awareness for mental health. This year why not combine that with holding an event and help us raise funds which allows us to continue our vital work of preventing mental health problems.

Your event can be as big or small as you like, and we have lots of ideas to get you started. Whether you want to hold a bake sale at work, a pub quiz at your local, or our new live music fundraising event MHF Live, we can support you in making it a success.

  • Why not hold a Curry & Chaat – get together with friends, family, colleagues and tuck in for mental health
  • Tea & Talk is our flagship community fundraising event – Have a natter. Raise money. Change lives
  • Are you a budding musician? Hold an MHF Live – Raise Awareness. Raise Money. Raise the roof!
  • Want to run a week of Wellbeing events at your school? We have a schools pack for you,

If none of these take your fancy then no problem. Why not hold your own event? There are tonnes of stuff you could do, from cake sales to knitathlon to a pub quiz or a sponsored silence. Our fundraising team have got you covered with more event ideas for the workplace, schools and your communities.

Raising money and organising events can be simple and remember they can be as big or small as you like.

If there is anything else we can help with then please email the Events team events@mentalhealth.org.uk or give us a call on 020 7803 1123.

Thank you so much for your support!
