Dominic has trained as a research and clinical psychologist, attaining his PhD from King's College London and his clinical doctorate from Salomons Centre for Applied Psychology.
His areas of expertise are perinatal mental health, child development and trauma. Originally from Zambia, he has grown up across Africa, Asia and Europe.
Dominic's research work in perinatal mental health has focused on exploring the impact of maternal mental health difficulties on the child's emotional and behavioural development, and he has published several papers to this effect. He is presently the clinical lead for Luna Children's Charity, an NGO focused around training clinicians working with traumatised children in areas of ongoing conflict such as the child refugees from the Syrian war.
