Candy Worf

Project Officer

Candy is Project Officer for three of our projects: her work straddles both the Mental Health Foundation and the Foundation for People With Learning Disabilities.

She is a group facilitator on our Standing Together project, for people in later life, as well as on our Young Mums Together project. She would one day like to combine the two and create an intergenerational project (that somehow incorporates dogs - that's the dream!). During her work with the Standing Together project Candy had the opportunity to author a book, Our ups and downs: growing up and getting on with the Rotherhithe Babes.

Candy also runs the What Works Hate Crime Project which is working to evaluate hate crime schemes and improve reporting of learning disability hate crime across the UK.

To take care of her mental health, Candy writes, rows, runs and plays the drums.
