Paul R. Hodgkinson CBE
Trained as an architect, Paul Hodgkinson is Executive Chairman of the Lincoln-based award-winning Simons Group Ltd., one of the larger privately owned construction, development and consultancy groups in the UK.
Simons carry out projects for a limited number of blue-chip customers in the retail, distribution and health sectors, together with mixed-use town centre regeneration developments.
Since 2009 Paul has been Non-Executive Chairman of the Notting Hill Housing Trust. This trust is one of the largest registered social housing organisations in London and is a leader in housing provision in London.
Paul was instrumental in raising funds and delivering the new Lincoln University in the city from 1991 onwards. The successful formation and raising of £32 million from various sources led to the new formation of the university and the significant impact on the city’s economic wellbeing. He has also been active in the East Midlands as a member of the CBI and BITC for the last 30 years.
