Here are our current projects:
The Mental Health Foundation will be funding new and innovative projects for people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias living in care homes.
Funding of between £5,000 - £25,000 will be provided to selected projects which can run for up to two years. The Foundation will provide some additional support to projects and evaluate the projects.

The Mental Health in Later Life Service Improvement Project, in partnership with Age Concern Scotland and NHS Health Scotland, is disseminating the findings of the UK Inquiry into Mental Health and Wellbeing in Later Life.
As part of this, we are supporting the development of Later Life Action Plans in 15 pilot Community Planning Partnership (CPP) areas. We are helping the 15 partnerships to develop ways of involving older people in the formation of the action plans.
Our consultancy support aims to help local people find consensus on priority areas for action. The partnerships are taking very different approaches depending on the diverse needs of the people in their area and the project aims to take equality and diversity issues into the mainstream.
This project also intends to disseminate the work of the:
-
EU Healthy Ageing Strategy
-
Scottish Executive's National Programme for Improving Mental Health and Well-being Later Life Steering Group
-
Scottish Executive’s Strategy for an Ageing Population
