Dementia Engagement and Empowerment Project
The Dementia Engagement and Empowerment Project (DEEP) is investigating the ways that people with dementia are currently engaged and what they would like to do in the future.
The project has recently completed a survey to collect this information and the findings will be available later this year.
The results will help us build a picture of groups and projects that are led or actively involve people with dementia influencing services and policies, and you can find the details of some of them by clicking on the map below.
DEEP is also supporting two events for people with dementia in London (21 February) and Stockport, near Manchester (13 March). If you are interested in finding out more about these events please contact Toby Williamson at twilliamson@mentalhealth.org.uk
DEEP is a collaboration between the Alzheimer's Society, the Mental Health Foundation and Innovations in Dementia, funded by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.
Toby specialises in mental health in later life, dementia and mental capacity, bringing twenty years of experience in the sector to his role.
