Response to the Government's proposed Personal Independence Payment scheme

The Government plans to replace Disability Living Allowance (DLA) with a new Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
We have submitted a response, jointly with a range of mental health organisations, to a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) consultation on the assessment process for people claiming PIP.
This highlights a number of concerns about the assessment process for people who have mental health needs
