The Big Care Debate
The Government is offering everybody the chance to have their say on the reform of adult care and support in England.
They want to create a National Care Service that is fair, simple and affordable. To set this process in motion, they have published a public consultation document, or Green Paper, called Shaping the Future of Care Together.
In it they spell out the options for reform – how a new system could be organised and paid for. They are asking everybody what they think of these options and which ones they would like to see adopted.
