Comics stand up in aid of mental health

On Thursday 26 October 2006, an array of comic talent will take to the stage at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London to raise money for charity. Rob Newman, Simon Amstell, Adam Bloom and Stewart Lee are just some of the stars taking part in the One Big Laugh show. Award-winning comedian Daniel Kitson will host the evening, with all proceeds going to the Mental Health Foundation charity, which helps people to survive and recover from mental health problems.

Andrew Moffatt, Director of Fundraising at the Mental Health Foundation, says;

 

“It’s terrific that so many comedians are giving their time to support the Mental Health Foundation charity. The money raised through the One Big Laugh will help us to support people with mental health problems.”
