• Letter sent to The Guardian, 13 September 2004: The results of the Nuffield Study will come as no surprise to anyone working in the fields of mental health and social care.

• Letter sent to the Guardian, 3 August 2004 : Was Rachel James attempting to challenge NICE’s views on A&E’s treatment of self-harmers (Cut it out please, 3 August)? She did an excellent job of reinforcing them.
