Here is a list of our letters from the Mental Health Foundation to newspapers and journals in 2002:
- Letter sent to The Times, 3 April 2002 about the Mental Health Foundation's concerns with the NUT's proposal that potentially troublesome children should be screened before being admitted to school.
- Letter sent to The Guardian, 14 February 2002 referring to an article where Piers Morgan defends his photographing of Naomi Campbell by saying that "while he would not divulge medical treatment he might run a photo of a celeb outside the front door of a psychiatrist or psychologist"...... which presumably he doesn't see as medical?!
- Letter sent to Health Service Journal, 11 February 2002 referring to an article on an acute psychiatric unit where people experiencing mental distress experience respect, good surroundings and there is an emphasis on having someone to talk to and taking control over your mental health problems rather than simply medication and containment.
