Views on Getting Older (VOGO)

Passionate about mental health and later life?  Got something to say about dementia or growing older? We want to hear it!

The Mental Health Foundation is setting up an online panel of people passionate about mental health and later life to help steer the work of the Mental Health Foundation. Anyone with an interest in the topic can join.

The panel, called Views on Growing Older (VOGO), would be invited to:

  • share their views about issues relating to mental health and later life
  • have a say about the type of work/projects the Mental Health Foundation could be doing on mental health and later life
  • participate in social research projects and other work on mental health and later life.

How does it work?

At regular intervals, panel members will receive an email inviting them to share their views on specific topics related to mental health and later life. Members can choose to reply to the questions sent out to them as little or often as they like, and the responses received will be used to inform and support the Foundation’s work on later life.

None of this would be compulsory - you can pick and choose which emails you respond to.  The panel is free to join and to protect confidentiality your details will not be passed on to other organisations.

Why join?

Joining the panel is a great way to help influence the direction that the Mental Health Foundation takes on later life.  The panel is a quick and easy way to express your views and to share experiences with others.

Joining the panel is easy.  Just fill out the details below and we'll get in touch with more information.
