We are delighted that Opinium Research has chosen the Mental Health Foundation as its charity of the year.

About Opinium Research

Ever wondered who answers all the questions that go into the opinion polls you read about in newspapers or hear on the radio? Well, its people just like you.

Whether it's finding out what foods you eat, what you think about climate change or the behaviour of our politicians, opinion polling companies need your input - and Opinium Research pays people to take part online.

Opinium Research works with organisations like the Mental Health Foundation to get the important work they do into the news.

By joining up to Opinium Research you can help the Mental Health Foundation

As a member of the online Opinium Panel, you get paid at least 50 pence for every one of the short surveys you complete. Once you reach £25 you have the option to receive the payment or donate all or part of that money to the Mental Health Foundation to help people affected by mental health problems and their families and friends. Just £25 enables the Foundation to give 24 hour online help & advice to more than 7,000 people who need it, for free.

Members receive a quarterly interactive newsletter. The questionnaires are not long or arduous to complete, and the information you provide - together with your personal data - are completely confidential.

The Opinium Panel also hosts occasional survey specific prize draws with iPods, weekend getaway breaks and other rewards up for grabs. The questionnaires run on a wide range of topics from current affairs and politics to personal finance and lifestyle.

To become a member of the online Opinium Panel, all you need to do is fill in a short one page registration questionnaire. You will be entered into a new joiners' prize draw for £1,000. To find out more, visit the Opinium Research website - and make your opinions count.
