How do I apply for one of the Mental Health Foundation's charity places?

You can apply for a Mental Health Foundation place here. There is a minimum sponsorship pledge of £450 and a non-refundable registration fee of £60.

How do I obtain my ‘Own Place’ in the Edinburgh Marathon?

The 2012 Edinburgh Marathon will open on 1 September 2011, visit the Edinburgh Marathon website. Marathon entries will close when 12,500 entries are reached.  If you have any queries please contact them directly via email at info@gsi-events.com.

How much do I have to raise if I have my own place in this race?

We just ask you to commit to raising as much as you can!  We do not ask you to sign a fundraising pledge of £450 as you would need to for a charity place.

What sort of support will the Mental Health Foundation offer me?

We will provide you with a fundraising pack once you sign up, regular emails and telephone calls to keep in regular touch.
