World Mental Health Day 2009

Tea and Talk - Get Involved

Millions of people from across the globe celebrate World Mental Health Day each year, raising awareness and much-needed funds for mental health causes.

Every year, on 10 October, the Mental Health Foundation marks the event by raising awareness of the mental health issues that matter.

Everyone knows that sharing your cares and hopes with someone else can be great for your own mental health and wellbeing. That's why this year, we'd love you to take part in Tea and Talk.

All you have to do is get together a group of friends or colleagues, put the kettle on, and invite them to make a donation to the Mental Health Foundation – it’s as simple as that. Find out more.

Raise awareness of how to look after your mental health and wellbeing

You may want to raise awareness of mental health by displaying our materials in your place of work, services or elsewhere. We've a range of information bookets and posters that will help you do this. As a charity we aim to provide as much information for free as possible, but we do need to charge for bulk orders to cover the cost of production. More information about the costs.
