Dr Dan Robotham, Senior Researcher
Dan's role involves managing research projects, writing reports for lay and specialist audiences, and designing and conducting evaluations.
His areas of expertise include public mental health, learning disabilities, mental capacity and young carers.
Prior to joining us, he was a Research Fellow at the Department of Mental Health Sciences at UCL, co-ordinating a randomised controlled trial in the field of learning disabilities. During this period he also completed his PhD part-time with UCL, and taught postgraduate research students at the University of Greenwich.
Dan holds a PhD in Psychology, an MSc in Health Psychology and a BSc in Psychology. His research and written reports have been published in leading journals including the British Journal of Psychiatry and the American Journal of Psychiatry. Dan is a member of the Parental Mental Health and Child Welfare Network, the Mental Health Qualitative Research Network and the Third Sector Research Forum.
Dan has most recently been involved in our research reports, MyCare and Sleep Matters.
Dan loves music, plays basketball and is interested in mythology.
