Many have personal or family experience of mental ill health as well as a lifetime of experience in mental health policy and services.

Isabella Goldie
Isabella Goldie

Isabella is the Head of the Mental Health Programmes in Scotland. She has a specific interest in promoting equality and human rights and challenging the inequalities experienced by those encountering mental health problems.

Hannah Biggs
Hannah Biggs

Hannah joined the Foundation in 2011 following the merger with the Scottish Development Centre for Mental Health.

Lauren Chakkalackal
Lauren Chakkalackal

Lauren has extensive experience conducting research projects and evaluations across the fields of mental health and learning disabilities in both the UK and in Canada. She holds a MSc in Mental Health Studies and a BSc in Psychology.

Dr David Crepaz-Keay

David offers over 20 years’ experience in service user involvement and he is a member of the All Wales Mental Health Promotion Board and an advisor to WHO Europe on empowerment.

Ralph has been the Head of Partnerships at the Mental Health Foundation since May 2010.

Joanne joined the Foundation in 2011, following the merger with the Scottish Development Centre for Mental Health where she had been Research and Evaluation Programme Lead since 1999.

Kirsten Morgan, Research Assistant
Kirsten Morgan, Research Assistant

Kirsten is currently studying for a BSc in International Studies and works on the Learn 2B project for the Foundation. She specialises in children and young people's mental health, the development of age appropriate services and non-medical interventions.

Chris O'Sullivan
Chris O'Sullivan

Chris leads the Policy and Development team in Scotland. He brings a decade of policy, campaigning and training experience, as well as lived experience of mental ill health.
