Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities
The Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities is part of the Mental Health Foundation. We work to break down the economic and social barriers and prejudice that people with learning disabilities face throughout their lives.
We provide information and resources and we also support services that can help people lead fuller, more independent lives. We promote people's rights, quality of life and opportunities.
We do this by working with people with learning disabilities, their families and those who support them.
- We research and develop projects that promote social inclusion and citizenship
- We support local communities and services to include people with learning disabilities
- We make practical improvements in services for people with learning disabilities
